For Pivot3, GITEX 2018 is all about going a mile further in redefining its technology and
channel portfolio.
Pivot3’s spotlight is on its Hybrid cloud offering. Anand Chakravarthi, Area VP of Pivot3 says, “A majority of the organizations have not truly realized the value that hybrid cloud can bring to their business models. It is nothing but a seamless movement of virtual machines from edge to central to cloud. With this model, we are able to help the organizations better manage their costs and have an optimized infrastructure.
When it comes to enterprise cloud adoption, workload mobility – the ability to move applications and their associated data to a new environment with zero or very limited downtime – is often a missing piece of the technology puzzle. Cloud environments tend to be very unique and different from on-premises and hypervisor environments, and by nature of their business model, cloud vendors lack incentive to make it easy for customers to move workloads out and into other environments.
The HCI vendor is also expanding its footprint in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia with its recent signup with a leading VAD in the region at GITEX. The company will be soon making an official announcement on the same. “KSA is a very big market for us and we see a huge potential there. This partnership will further help us bolstering our presence in the region.”
