Mimecast to perform live hacking at GITEX

Mimecast Limited is participating in GITEX Technology Week 2016 along with its distributor Bulwark Technologies. The company plans to showcase its full-range of email and data security solutions and services, and demonstrate how it can protect customers against advanced spear-phishing and whaling attacks with its Targeted Threat Protection service at GITEX.

Brandon Bekker, Managing Director at Mimecast MEA said, “At GITEX 2016, our security experts will discuss the top email attack strategies being used by cybercriminals and demonstrate how these work by performing a series of live hacks for visitors at our stand. We plan to highlight how our cloud-based email security services and our capabilities of Targeted Threat Protection, help reduce the risk, complexity and costs traditionally associated with protecting email.”

As part of its GITEX 2016 plans, Mimecast will promote Mimecast Email Security, which protects against malware, spam, advanced phishing and other emerging attacks, while preventing data leaks, Mimecast Mailbox Continuity, which enables employees to continue using email during planned and unplanned outages, and Mimecast Enterprise Information Archiving, which unifies email, file and instant messaging data to support e-discovery and give employees fast access to their personal archive via PC, Mac and mobile apps.

Mimecast will also showcase its email security cloud service designed to protect customers from the growing threat from email attacks known as CEO Fraud, Business Email Compromise or whaling.
